We will discuss your needs and desires for the renovated kitchen. Detailed measurements will be noted to help create the kitchen layout. We will discuss the style of cabinetry you desire for the kitchen. We will have preliminary discussion on budget, timeframe of the renovation, and answer other relevant questions you might have regarding the new kitchen.

Should I keep my appliances or purchase new ones?

We will evaluate your current appliances to see if they can be incorporated into the new kitchen. Should you need to shop for new appliances Swan Kitchens has partnered with local appliance dealers where you will receive professional guidance and expertise as well as preferred pricing, extended warranty and manufacturers rebate where applicable.

What cabinet brands do you offer?

Swan Kitchens is a registered dealer with kitchen cabinet manufacturers ranging from stock, semi-custom to full custom cabinetry. The cabinetry selected will be determined by your individual style, how soon we need to get the project underway, and of course your budget. You will receive detailed information for the products chosen so you are ensured the right product was chosen to meet your needs.

How do I select countertops?

Choosing the correct countertop can be just as important as the cabinetry itself. The most popular material today is quartz, but other options to consider are granite, quartzite and marble to name a few. There are countless colors to choose from as well. In addition to providing samples of actual countertop materials, Swan Kitchens has partnered with local fabricators and showroom galleries to help ensure you select the perfect countertop for your kitchen.

How do I prepare for the renovation?

A kitchen renovation poses challenges on the family and it’s best to be prepared in advance. Swan Kitchens will offer insight and guidance on how to keep inconveniences to a minimum. Before the renovation begins it’s important that essential materials are ordered and on hand. Swan Kitchens will work with you to avoid delays and cost over runs.

Who installs my kitchen cabinets?

Swan Kitchens does not perform contracting services but can recommend contracting professionals to meet your needs. In addition to providing copies of all drawings and renderings, I provide direct collaboration with your contractor or architect. Often times I work directly with clients who perform their own installation.
